The passionate team of vets and nurses are here to assist with any needs your furry friend has. The vet team consists of Meagan, Birthe, Else, Peta and Anan. Chelsea Woodall is the clinic manager.
The nursing team are made up of Paige, Elise, Bronwyn, Celeste, Chanique, Sandra, Jewel and Devon.
Fantastic puppy classes are hosted at this clinic.

I graduated in South Africa 18 years ago. I moved to New Zealand with my husband, son and step son 10 years ago. We have been living on the North Shore. We brought our cat Squeeky with us and have since acquired 2 more cats (Twiggy and Baxter), 2 dogs (Pepsi and Phoebe) and 2 Horses (Queenie and Piper). I really enjoy small animal medicine/surgery and am passionate about animal behaviour.
Graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in Scotland and worked in equine and small animal practice in the UK for 10 years before emigrating to New Zealand with her partner in 2009. She worked in both emergency clinics in Auckland and for Veterinary Hospital Group in the Parkhill branch for 6 years before a short career break having her daughter. Susan returned to work in emergency out of hours work and then rejoined the Veterinary Hospital Group as Northern Clinical Director in January 2023. You may come across her working in any of the northern branches.
Originally from Utrecht, The Netherlands, Birthe came to New Zealand together with her partner in January 2016. After she enjoyed travelling around NZ, she decided this is the country she wants to stay in a bit longer. Birthe graduated in a Master of Equine in The Netherlands and since moving to NZ has also worked in a small animal practice in South Auckland before coming to work with us in April 2017. She is enjoying the mixture of small and large animals. Back home she was riding dressage in her free time and plans on starting again in the near future.
After growing up in New Plymouth and finishing her veterinary degree in Palmerston North, Peta moved up to the Coast to join the VHG team. She loves all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. When she’s not at work you can find her playing football, trail running, or spending time at the beach with friends!
Elyse grew up in Wellington, recently graduated from Massey University and she has since moved to Auckland. She has always been passionate about animals from a young age and has found a particular interest in animal welfare. When she isn’t working, Elyse likes to spend her time going on long walks or catching up with friends and family.
Chelsea holds her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from Unitec and is the Clinic Manager at Silverdale Vets at Animates. She has been working for Veterinary Hospital Group since 2013. In her spare time she enjoys fostering cats (particularly taming up the challenging ones!), going out for a meal and socialising with friends. She has a Maltese x named Buddy who love going for walks on the beach.
Paige joined Vet Hospital Group after completing her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2019. She loves working with all kinds of animals including birds! Paige lives on the Shore with her partner and her three naughty cats called Nisha, Riley and Harper.
I’ve been working in the pet industry for 6 years before deciding to study for a diploma in vet nursing. I’m currently in my final year and enjoy being involved in anaesthesia and surgical procedures. I grew up on a farm in Kaukapakapa, and currently live in Helensville with my partner and our two Border Collies, Clay and Sadie and our British Shorthair, Sky. In my spare time, I enjoy baking or taking the dogs to Muriwai.
I am currently working towards my Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Vet Nurse Plus. My favourite part of the job so far is learning about Canine Behaviour. I live in Whangaparaoa with my partner and my three-legged dog Cooper and love the many beaches and walks that the Coast has to offer!
Originally from Argentina, moved to NZ in 2006. Currently working towards my Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. I very much enjoy assisting in surgical procedures. I live in Puhoi with my partner, my son and daughter, a black labrador and two grumpy ragdolls. On my free time I love going fishing with the family, taking my dog to the beach for a play, and reading a good book.
